What Is Double Deep Pallet Racking?

Double deep pallet racking lets you store pallets two deep in each position using a reach or deep-reach forklift. It works like selective racking, but it’s built in back-to-back rows, so you can place one pallet behind another. You can also set it up three pallets deep if you need more storage density. It doubles (or triples) your storage capacity in the same footprint by reducing aisles. You can easily choose your preferred depth in our rack builder tool.

When to Use Double Deep Racking

Double-deep racks are best when:

You have a lot of the same product but fewer SKUs

You don’t need instant access to every pallet, and your inventory follows LIFO – last pallet in, first out.

If your team already uses forklifts, upgrading to double-deep is easy. Starting from scratch, use deep-reach trucks with extendable forks.

Double Deep Racking works great in cold storage – you can pack more pallets into tight spaces and keep temps steady.

How to Choose Your Depth: 2 Deep vs 3 Deep

Most customers go with a 2-deep setup — it doubles storage density while still giving 50% direct pallet access (the front pallet is always available).

Choose 3-deep only if:

You store very high volumes of identical SKUs.

You have limited floor space and can accept ~33% selectivity.

Your forklift fleet includes deep-reach trucks capable of safely handling 3-pallet depths. Note: 3-deep systems need careful load planning and stricter LIFO control. Always double-check your forklift reach capacity and aisle width with your operations team.

How Does Double Deep Pallet Racking Work?

Your team uses a deep-reach forklift to access the back pallet. They load the rear pallet first, then place another in front. When picking, you pull the front pallet first. The reach truck can extend its forks to grab the rear one when needed. In 3-deep setups, the sequence is extended: load position C → B → A; unload A → B → C.

You can use telescopic forks, pantograph kits, or scissor-mast lifts. With the right setup, you can even carry two pallets at once. Always check with your forklift manufacturer before modifying equipment.

Double Deep Racks vs Other Rack Types

Selective racking gives full access but takes more space. Double-deep racks pack more pallets into the same area but limit access to the back pallet – roughly 50% selectivity (33% for 3-deep).

You cut aisle space in half compared to single-deep racks, so you can fit more pallets. It’s a LIFO system – last in, first out – so plan stock rotation accordingly.

Want to see how it stacks up? Check the comparison table below.

Rack Type

Storage Density

Selectivity
(Access to Pallets)

Forklift Needed

Stock Rotation

Selective

Low (1 deep)

High (100%)

Standard forklift

FIFO or LIFO

Double Deep

Medium (2 deep)

Medium (50%)

Deep-reach forklift

LIFO

Triple Deep

High (3 deep)

Low (~33%)

Deep-reach forklift

LIFO

Drive-In

High (4+ deep)

Low (20-30%)

Standard forklift

LIFO

Push-Back

High (3-6 deep)

Medium-High (75%)

Standard forklift

LIFO

Industries That Use Double Deep Racks

Double-deep racks fit all kinds of warehouses.

Distribution centers: move bulk shipments fast.

3PLs: store client SKUs in large quantities.

Cold storage: keep frozen pallets compact and maintain airflow.

Manufacturers: store raw materials or finished products in big batches.

In short, any operation with lots of the same SKU – food, beverages, automotive parts – can benefit.

What Is a Pick Module?

A Pick Module is a rack-supported picking system built around your warehouse. Unlike standard pallet racks, every level in a Pick Module can be used for picking or reserve storage. Forklifts reload pallets in separate aisles while pickers work safely in their zones.

Key Components of a Pick Module

The storage you choose—pallet flow, carton flow, pushback, or selective rack—determines how product moves through the system and how orders get filled.

Rack-Supported Pick Modules use pallet racking as the backbone, often running one to four levels high. Cross-aisle beams hold up the flooring and platforms above, with bar grates for light and sprinkler access or solid decks like plywood/resin for easier walking and cart use. Stairs, rails, and pallet gates tie into the rack structure for safe, ergonomic access. Forklifts replenish through load aisles or pallet gates, while pickers work undisturbed in the pick aisles.

Key components of Pick Modules can include:

Pallet flow rack for feeding full pallets to case-pick zones or holding reserve inventory

Carton flow rack for medium- to slow-moving SKUs, perfect for case or each picking

Industrial shelving and bin storage work well for slower movers or odd-shaped parts

Mezzanine levels to use vertical space, with stairs, guardrails, and decking for safety

Conveyors—powered, gravity, or spiral—for moving picked items to sortation or packing

This setup keeps forklifts in loading zones and pickers in picking zones for faster, safer operations.

How a Pick Module Works

Every Pick Module layout is custom, built around your warehouse needs. Most follow proven workflows that combine rack-supported platforms with flow storage systems. Here’s how we apply them to solve real operational challenges.

1. Multi-Level Zone Picking

Many 3PLs or e‑commerce warehouses use the first level as their main pick zone to save floor space—but that leaves upper levels underused. Pick Modules let you pick from any level safely, creating multiple active pick zones while forklifts replenish stock overhead.

However, if load limits, deck construction, or aisle widths aren’t planned correctly, pickers take longer routes, forklifts get blocked, or safety violations happen. Speedrack West engineers plan for all of that. We calculate loads, plan safe aisles, meet safety regulations, and design for future growth. The result is a layout where pickers move fast, forklifts run freely, and you avoid costly mistakes. Thinking of adding or expanding pick zones? Fill out the form—we’ll design a layout that works now and grows with you.

2. Replenishment vs. Pick Face

High-volume fulfillment often means running replenishment and picking at the same time. During peak season, your team may need to constantly restock pallets while pickers assemble orders with multiple SKUs. Without the right system, workers end up waiting for forklifts or navigating blocked aisles.

Pick Modules handle this using pallet flow lanes, carton flow, or gravity-fed systems. Forklifts load stock in the back while pickers pull from the front, keeping orders moving without interruptions.

But this takes precise design. Incorrect aisle spacing or poorly planned pick zones can create bottlenecks and safety hazards. Speedrack West ensures racks, flow lanes, and mezzanines are all aligned so replenishment and picking happen simultaneously—safely and efficiently. Your crew can build orders, break down pallets, and pack boxes without slowing down.

3. Integration with Conveyors and Carton Flow

For manufacturing or cross-docking operations, moving inventory between production, storage, and shipping zones can consume a lot of time. Pick Modules with integrated conveyors solve this.

We design conveyor layouts to move product straight from production to the pick face, or from storage to the dock. Proper planning is critical—if conveyors block forklifts or force pickers into long detours, throughput drops.

We select the right type of conveyor—gravity, powered, spiral, or pallet/box-specific—and design layouts that fit your facility. The result: continuous workflow, reduced handling time, and safer operations.
What Problem Does a Pick Module Solve?

Pick Modules are used all the time in high-volume distribution centers, e-commerce hubs chasing same-day orders, 3PLs dealing with mixed SKUs, and manufacturers handling seasonal peaks. Why? Because they fix the everyday problems that slow crews down:

Wasted travel time between pick locations

Reserve pallets taking up space instead of staying overhead

Dead-end aisles and scattered pick zones

The need for more throughput without adding floor space

So if you’re dealing with challenges like below, it’s time to take a hard look at Pick Modules:

Thousands of SKUs crammed in a tight space

E-comm or retail orders spiking 500+ lines per shift

Case or split-case picking across multiple zones

Crews running waves or batches, needing quick paths

Travel time eats up 30% of your pick rate

You are 3PLs or manufacturers dealing with seasonal peaks

Overview

Carton flow racks, also known as gravity flow shelving, are dynamic storage systems that use inclined roller or wheel tracks to move cartons, totes, or bins from the rear loading side to the picking face. This gravity-fed, first-in, first-out (FIFO) system³:

maximizes warehouse space–up to 50% vs. static rack and shelving,

boosts picking speed–get up to 40 pick locations per bay,

minimizes errors by keeping SKUs organized and accessible.

Great for high-volume, medium-turn inventory, carton flow racks integrate with warehouse management systems (WMS) and are customizable to fit diverse SKU sizes and operational needs. They are widely used in e-commerce, retail, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage warehouses for efficient order fulfillment.

How It Works: Products are loaded onto inclined tracks (typically 1.9″ diameter polypropylene wheels or steel rollers). Gravity propels items forward, ensuring the oldest stock is always at the pick face. Dedicated SKU lanes prevent mixing, and modular designs allow easy reconfiguration.

Best Use Cases

E-commerce Fulfillment: Handles variable SKU sizes (e.g., 6″–24″ wide cartons) for rapid order picking in high-turnover environments. Example: A 12′-deep rack with 16″-wide lanes quickly and easily drops into new or existing racking, consolidating and increasing pick slots for mixed apparel and electronics orders⁴.

Pharmaceutical Warehouses: Ensures FIFO for date-sensitive stock (e.g., 12″ x 12″ medical supply totes) with full-length lane dividers⁵ to meet regulatory requirements.

Food & Beverage Distribution: Supports perishable FIFO inventory rotation (e.g., 18″ x 24″ beverage cases at 30 lb. each) with heavy-duty rollers rated for up to 50 lb./sq. ft. Full-length lane dividers ensure SKU separation, aligning with FDA best practices for stock rotation and traceability under Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 21⁶ Part 110 for food safety compliance.

There are many different styles of warehouse pallet racking, but the most common in use today is called the “teardrop” style (also known as “Interlake Old Style”). These frames have a distinctive teardrop-shaped hole that allows for quick, secure beam connections. Both the old and new Interlake styles are structurally sound and compatible with standard teardrop beams—neither is more secure than the other.

For more information about warehouse shelving, visit our warehouse shelving basics resource page.

Pallet Racking Frames

The structure of your pallet racking is generally called the frame. Pallet Rack Frames can be made of different materials, but the strongest and most common is steel. The frame is what provides the structural support, and are made to hold huge weight loads.

There are multiple types of frames that are used for different storage options. One of the most popular is the pallet rack upright frame, which is perfect for creating pallet racks that are more like standard shelving. If you’re planning on working with longer items, like pipes or lumber, cantilever frames are the best solution. For things that stack, you might want to consider an industrial stack rack frame.

Take stock of what the purpose of your shelving will be, and then explore the frame options to match.

Selecting Your Pallet Rack Frame

To pick the right frame for your pallet racks, you need to determine the height and depth of the frame.

Pallet Rack Frame Height

The most common frame height is 12’ or 16’.

To calculate the right height for your space, measure the distance from the floor to your ceiling (or sprinkler heads, if you have them). Subtract 1.5’ (18”) for clearance, and also subtract the height of your pallet + load. This will give you the maximum height of your top beam level.

For example:

21’ Sprinkler Height
– 1.5’ Clearance
– 4’ pallet + load height

= 15.5 feet – so select a 16’ height frame.

Select an upright height that is tall enough for the height of your top beam level.

Can I put a beam level at the very top of the frame? Yes, but it doesn’t have to be.

When selecting the height of your frame, be sure to consider:

Height of the ceiling

Height of the sprinkler head

Maximum height of your forklift

Pallet Rack Frame Depth

The most common frame depth is 42” because it properly supports a standard 48” deep pallet. If you are using non-standard pallets, or you’re storing other products, be sure to calculate the correct frame depth based on the size of the product you are storing.

The frame depth sets the distance between the beams. Because the beams are designed to support the weight, the pallet should overhang the beams by 3 inches on the front and back.

To determine the correct frame depth, measure the depth of your pallet and subtract 6”.

Example: A standard GMA pallet is 48” deep. Subtract 6” = 42” frame depth.

Pallet Rack Support Beams and Crossbars

While the frames are what hold your warehouse shelving upright, it’s the beams that hold the frames together. Shelving or racking cross beams are usually made of heavy-duty steal, and match with the teardrop connecting systems of the frames.

The pallet rack beams are what give your shelving the length they need. The longer the beam or crossbar, the longer your shelving will be. Take this into consideration when you’re measuring out your space and planning your warehouse layout.

Selecting Beams for Your Pallet Racks

To choose the right beam for your pallet rack, you’ll need to determine the length of the beam, and the height of the beam.

8ft pallet rack beams are the most common beam length, because they allow you to store two standard 48”D x 40”W pallets per beam level, and the shorter length helps to support heavier pallets. If you have larger pallets, you may want to select a 9ft or 10ft beam.

If your pallets are not very heavy (ie, less than 2,000 lbs), 12ft beams could be a good choice. 12 ft beams allow you to fit three standard pallets per beam level.

Pallet Racking Beam Length

The length of your beam should be determined by the width of your pallets / product, and the capacity you need per beam level. Shorter beams will give you a higher capacity than longer beams.

Pallet Racking Beam Height / Capacity

The capacity of the beam is determined primarily by the length and the height of the beam, sometimes called the “face size.”

Beams with a larger face size will have a higher load capacity. The height of the beam typically varies between 3” and 6”. Choose a beam height that provides the capacity you need. Take a look at our beam load capacity guide for a look at approximate beam capacities.

Pallet Racking Beam Levels

When determining the number of beam levels for your pallet rack, allow for at least 3-4″ of clearance between the top of your stored product and the bottom of the beam above it. Also, include in that spacing between levels the height of the beams you selected.

How to Calculate the Total Width of the Rack

To calculate the total width of the rack, add the width of the beam to the combined width of the two upright posts. For example, if the beam is 96 inches wide, and each post adds 3 inches, you’ll need to add 6 inches total. That makes the overall rack width 102 inches.

Warehouse Pallet Rack Decking

Rack Decking is what the actual shelf is made out of. This is important to consider when planning what you’re actually going to put on the pallet rack. For instance, if you’re putting large items on your racks, then a wire mesh decking will work well, as they allow a load of up to 2500 pounds of uniformly distributed weight. But if you have small or thin items that might fall through the holes in the wire mesh, then something more consistent like a perforated steel or solid steel deck might be a better solution.

Wire Mesh Decking

Keep in mind that the weight of your load matters. While the frames and beams might support the weight of your materials, if the decking can’t support the weight, it likely to break through the shelf and crash into what’s below. Fire safety is also a consideration, so if you have flammable materials, or items that could spark and cause a fire, wood decking may not be the best option.

Selecting your Wire Mesh Decks for Your Pallet Racking

Wire Mesh Decks are an optional safety item, but we highly recommend them on every pallet rack system. We would estimate that roughly 90% of our customers choose to use wire mesh decks on their pallet racking.

To select the right wire deck, the depth of the wire deck must match the depth of the frame.

The width of the wire deck is determined by the length of your beams.

8ft beams – choose (2) decks that are 46”W each

9ft beams – choose (2) decks that are 52”W each

10ft beams – choose (2) decks that are 58”W each

If you are using our pallet rack builder (above), it will automatically select the correct wire decks for your beams and frames.

Pallet Rack Safety Considerations

Safety is everyone’s top priority, so you’ll likely want to add some extra items to increase the safety of your rack system:

Anchors – Pallet rack that is not anchored to a concrete floor is extremely unsafe. You need four anchors installed per frame. Anchoring pallet rack is an essential part of proper pallet rack installation.

Column Guards – Damaged pallet rack is unsafe, and the most common damage to a frame happens when it is hit by a forklift. Installing column guards on each frame can reduce the likelihood of damage during low speed impacts. Any exposed side of a frame needs protection with a column guard solution such as a RAMguard or a column guard.

Drop Pins – Beam safety drop pins are an easy and inexpensive way to reduce the chance of beams being accidentally disengaged. This common error happens when a forklift operator lifts a pallet too high, causing the pallet to raise the beam above and disconnect it from the frame. This results in the entire beam level failing and pallets falling to the floor. Installing two drop pins per beam prevents this type of accident.

Designing your Warehouse Rack Layout

When laying out your pallet rack system, there are starter bays and add-on bays.

Starter bays consist of two frames plus the beams, and can stand alone. Add-on bays only have one frame plus the beams, and they are designed to connect to an adjacent frame.

Each row must begin with a starter bay, and then use add-on bays to increase the length of the row. There is no limit to the number of add-on bays you can connect together in a row.

When determining the length of your row, you must account for the 3” width of each frame, in addition to your beam length. For example, a row with two bays of 8ft beams would consist of one starter bay and one add-on bay, which would have three uprights. At 3” each, the three uprights would take up 9” of space. Add this to the two 8ft beams, for a total length of 16’ 9”.

Using our pallet rack configurator (above) will automatically calculate the correct length of each row of racking. You can also have a copy of your designed layout instantly emailed to you.

What Is Steel Bar Grating Decking for Pallet Racks?

Steel bar grating is a heavy-duty decking panel made from forged steel bearing bars and cross bars, typically welded together. It’s designed to sit on pallet rack beams and support pallets, containers with feet, or heavy items that require robust point load capacity.

The specific style we offer is 19-W-4 grating: bearing bars spaced 1-3/16″ on center, cross bars at 4″. This pattern provides 78% open area, making it ideal for airflow, drainage, and sprinkler compliance in warehouse storage applications.

We offer two types of bar grating deck: Waterfall and In-Trim.

No matter which one you go with, we will make sure it fits your pallet rack’s step beam. (Custom options available. Contact us).

Why Choose Steel Grate Decking Over Wire Decking?

Wire mesh decking may be cheaper upfront, but it struggles with point loads, heavy pallets with bottom boards, and containers with feet. Steel bar decking offers superior strength, support, and resistance to deformation under concentrated weight.

Grating decks also last longer in high-impact areas where forklifts load and unload regularly. Their open design allows for better drainage and less buildup of debris compared to solid steel decking.

What Makes Steel Grating the Best Warehouse Rack Deck Product?

The 19-W-4 spacing is a standard in industrial flooring and has now been adopted for pallet racking due to its performance. The pattern provides excellent balance between weight and load capacity.

With 1-1/2 x 1/8 inch bearing bars and a weight of 7.2 lbs per square foot, it delivers impressive strength with minimal material. It even supports pedestrian traffic up to 5′-10″ spans and holds up to 1,421 lbs at 2-foot spans (unsupported).

Looking for a solid steel pallet rack decking for sale that doesn’t compromise on strength or stability? Our solid steel deck is the go-to choice for warehouses, industrial facilities, and storage rooms demanding extreme load capacity and rugged construction. If you’re looking for a wire mesh decking alternative, this is the product you need.

What Is Solid Steel Pallet Rack Decking?

Solid steel pallet deck is a heavy duty rack decking style made from 14 gauge steel. It has a smooth surface and reinforcing channels on the underside. It is designed to sit directly on top of step beams on a pallet rack level, creating a durable shelf that easily supports heavy pallet loads.

Unlike mesh, pallet rack solid decking provides a continuous steel surface that eliminates sagging and prevents smaller items from falling through.

Why Choose Solid Over Wire or Perforated?

Wire mesh and perforated panels may be cheaper, but they can’t match the strength and durability. When it comes to heavy loads or odd-shaped items, the solid steel deck outperforms:

More contact area for uneven or small-bottomed products

No sharp mesh to snag product or hands

Easier cleanup and safer steel surface with durable powder

How many Solid Decking Panels Do You Need?

Each section fits standard pallet rack beams and is compatible with most existing pallet rack systems. The width remains consistent at 46″, making it easy to plan your pallet rack shelf layout.

Here is a standard pallet rack beams compatible table:

Beam Length

# of 46” Decks

Fit Status

Overhang / Gap

Notes

36″

–

Not a Fit

Deck too wide for this beam

Not compatible with 46″ panels. Request Custom

48″

1

Good Fit

2″ total gap

Works well with a slight side gap.

72″

1

Overhang

13″ total overhang (6.5″ per side)

Use with caution or get custom width. Request Custom

96″

2

Good Fit

4″ total gap (2″ each side)

Standard setup for 96″ beams.

108″

2

Gap + Overhang

~5.3″ gap between panels + side gaps

May cause product tipping — custom recommended. Request Custom

120″

2

Overhang

28″ total overhang (14″ per side)

Large overhang — better with custom combo. Request Custom

144″

3

Good Fit

6″ total gap (3″ each side)

Works well for full-span coverage.

Punched Deck: Heavy-Duty Warehouse Rack Decking

Punched deck shelving is a steel pallet shelving that uses galvanized steel panels with evenly spaced perforations. These punched openings provide 50% open surface area, ensuring better airflow, drainage, and visibility—all while meeting NFPA 13 fire and sprinkler codes.

Engineered for durability and strength, ProDeck50® is the industry’s first flat, snag-free punched decking, with a load capacity of up to 250 lbs. per square foot (UDL). It’s stronger than wire mesh, safer for hand-stacking, and resistant to corrosion, impact, and dust buildup.

Punched Decking: Top Applications

Punched deck shelving is the go-to choice for industries where airflow, drainage, and durability matter:

Automotive parts & tires

Furniture, carpets & padding

Medical & plumbing supplies

Retail inventory & POS displays

Hand-stacked small parts

Cold storage & freezers

Records and archival storage

It’s particularly useful in cold storage environments where air circulation and drainage help maintain temperature and reduce ice buildup.

Storeroom Cantilever Racks

If you own a business that sells lumber, piping, carpeting or any other type of long, bulky item, then you’ve probably already run into the issue of trying to store all those long, bulky items. It’s tempting, but it is not a recommended storage practice to simply pile everything up on the floor! This is where a good cantilever racking system comes in. Be it light duty cantilever racks, medium duty or heavy duty – we are here to help.

Structural cantilever racks, made from heavier gauge steel through a hot-rolling process, are a more reliable and versatile solution. These racks can be configured as single-sided or double-sided systems to accommodate diverse storage needs.

When selecting structural cantilever racks, options commonly include medium-duty and heavy-duty configurations. The primary difference between the two lies in the thickness of the arms and their load capacity, allowing professionals to choose the most suitable type based on specific storage requirements. This clear distinction simplifies the decision-making process and ensures the system meets operational demands effectively.

Warehouse cantilever racks are made up of a few different components: bases, uprights, arms, and cantilever bracing. The bases serve as the cornerstone of the racking system and anchor it to the floor, acting as the main stabilizing component for the entire system.

Next, there are the upright columns. The cantilever arms, in turn, serve as the actual shelving units where you can place your long and bulky items. They compose each of the storage levels of the cantilever racking system.

Single sided cantilever racks are also available. Single-sided cantilever racks are commonly used in warehouses and storage facilities to store long and bulky items such as lumber, pipes, and furniture. This type of rack system is designed with arms that extend from a single upright, allowing for easy access to stored items from one side. The single sided design makes these racks ideal for placement against walls or in areas where space is limited.

Cantilever Racks for Steel & Metal

Cantilever racks for steel can store flat sheets (foil or leaf), coiled strips, as well as pipes. Since raw material pipes are long and have a large polar moment of inertia, movement, and rocking should be controlled.

For this, turn your attention to the arms of cantilever metal racks. Both single-sided or double-sided racks have arms that can be as straight as inclined to the center to prevent goods from rolling out.

Straight arms up to 48″ long have a minimum pitch of 3/8″ per foot to compensate for deflection.

Inclined arms have a pitch of 20° or approximately 4.36″ per foot. This is where you can put rolls or pipes.

Is there an alternative to cantilever racks? Yes, and no. For example, you can use stacked bunks to store pipes. However, this solution may rearrange your handling operations and require different equipment.

Cantilever Racks for Lumber

Vertically or horizontally, what is better for wood products?

Experts say that seasoned wood can be stored vertically, and horizontally is best for long-term storage. This also applies to seasoned wood that’s less than ½-inch thin.

For storing lumber, cantilever racks must be supported by enough arms to maintain a flat position. This racking system is the best solution to keep lumber because cantilever racks allow equal airflow on both sides of a board. However, do not install them outdoors due to moisture and other environmental reactions of wood.

Benefits of Cantilever Rack Systems

Cantilever racks offer numerous advantages. Not only do they make it possible to safely store oddly-shaped and bulky items, but they are also fully customizable. You can design them to fit virtually any type of load length you need. This means if you have pipes or pieces of lumber that are different lengths, you can customize different sections of the racking system to accommodate the lengths that you need for each section of the product.

Another one of the primary benefits of cantilever systems is that they offer you open linear storage. You won’t have to deal with any vertical uprights when you invest in cantilever racks.

Of course, another extremely advantageous aspect of these systems is that they are able to handle high weight capacities. The heavy loads that you can’t safely store on other racking can be stored with ease on cantilever racks.

Cantilever Stop Pins attach to Cantilever Arms and Cantilever Bases to prevent products from falling off the rack.

This 1″ diameter round tube slides into a 1.25″ receptacle at the end of our cantilever rack arms and bases. The removable stopper extends approx. 10″ above the top of the cantilever arm or base.

A cantilever rack stop safety pin is particularly useful for items that have a tendency to slide, slip, or roll-off. Cantilever racks are great for storing round items. As a result, round items that a cantilever rack can store include pipes, round lumber (dowels), and round steel tubes. However, they are found, therefore, they have a propensity to roll off the rack. It is the reason why cantilever stop pins are very beneficial. They protect your products from rolling off your racks. You avoid liability claims and you keep your products from getting damaged.

These cantilever stop pins feature:

Drop-in installation

Easy removal for quick access when necessary

1″ Diameter x 16 ga. round tube x 13″ height

3.5″ length from stopper slides into a hollow cylindrical receptacle

Approx. 10″ length above the stopper

Increase safety for your people and reduce product damage with these pins. They may even be a good idea if you have inclined cantilever arms.

Other items to consider for your Cantilever Racks:

Want to increase the safety of you and your workers? You may also want to consider getting guard rails to make sure that errant forklifts cannot make contact with your racks. They also work well for defining walkways. Therefore, the walkways can be protected by the guard rails as well.

Bollard posts are also a good way to discourage forklifts from running into your cantilever racks. They include all the hardware you need to install them and anchor them. The bollards make use of a safety yellow color. They will are highly visible to people driving forklifts.
