You may want a safety clip in addition to your J-pin for pallet racks. They can work together to give you twice the protection against pallet levels full of products or pallets falling on you or your employees.

Column guards and/or RAMguards are also immensely helpful for protection. If a forklift is mishandled then it can, potentially, protect the rack from taking damage. The products does this by absorbing the contact for the pallet rack. As a result, it leaves the pallet rack structurally. Please know that you should, still, check the rack after the contact for safety reasons.

Forklifts have a tendency to damage pallet rack within warehouses. As a result, in a worst-case scenario, damaged racking can cause a complete racking system to collapse. A column guard can solve that problem by preventing the pallet rack from taking damage from the collision.

Pallet rack that has been damaged is no longer structurally sound and must be replaced. Consequently, this involves significant time, labor, and hard costs:

• Downtime while replacing damaged pallet rack
• Unloading product from damaged rack bay
• Removing beams, wire decking, damaged frame, anchor bolts
• Reinstall and anchor frame

These offset clips allow your pallets to overhang the pallet rack beam. There are two choices for this if that is something that you are interested in having.

Both offset clips attach the wire mesh back guard panel to your pallet rack frame – the only difference is how far they hold the panel off the rack:
