Our client, Consolidated Supply Company, was looking for a better solution than the current one for storing pipes, hoses, and other products.
Solution
The solution we came up with was specialty pipe bunks. They have several advantages. One is protecting the product against physical damage by fitting pipe bunks to product dimensions. What else was it?

Understanding Requirements
The area of expertise of our client is plumbing, waterworks, and hydronics. This long and heavy product should be stored optimally and collected as soon as possible. The company was using the old pipe bunks that were rusty, broken, and not stackable. So that created limited space usage. In addition, it took a truly long time for a forklift driver to load and unload the product because old racks didn’t even have space for forklift forks.
Special design
We created a special design of pipe bunks for easy handling operations with the forklift. One tiny detail is crucially important. At the bottom of the pipe bunks, there are guides for the forks of loading equipment. With their help, you can carefully perform loading and unloading operations. Practical, safe, and fast.
In addition, pipe bunks save you money by effectively utilizing footprint and vertical space. They can be stackable atop each other. We recommend putting up to 4,000 lbs and not more than 3 levels. This design allows you to free up space to store more goods or rent out the vacated space.
Implementation
No installation or maintenance costs. Can you imagine it? Pipe bunks’ design is modular and can be moved, added to, and stacked anywhere you need it; indoors or outdoors. The dimensions can be deep – 4ft (or 48 inches), length – 8ft, 12 ft, 16ft, tall – 4ft of usable space. The weight, for instance, 48″ x 192″ pipe bunk: base = 290 lbs.; 6 posts = 90 lbs.
All the material that we produce is painted steel with rust-prohibited primer.
Finalization
We offered a customized solution based on the company’s specific needs that couldn’t be found on the open market, offering a better price and quality. Our client is more than happy and is now in the planning stage to replace all the old racks with our new product. We created custom products extraordinarily well with a good speed rate.
