What is this storage stack made of?
Polypropylene is the main ingredient. It is, according to the manufacturer, an injection-molded polypropylene.
What can you tell me about the stacking? Is it flimsy?
The manufacturer told us that it has an anti-slip lock. They also say that it has a wide stacking ledge. It should be easy to do and fairly secure based on what we have been told.
I have to label these storage stacks for what I’m doing. Is there an easy way of doing this?
The manufacturer tells us that they have supplied a molded ID label slot which you can use for that purpose.
What was the temperature you said that an autoclave could take this bin up to?
The quoted level is 250 degrees Fahrenheit or 121.11 degrees Celsius.
Does it have parts where I can grip on to it?
Yes. It includes back and side grips so that you can handle it easily and at your leisure.
What does autoclavable mean?
The bin can withstand use with an autoclave. An autoclave is used to sterilize equipment. It uses steam, therefore, there are bins that may not survive that kind of intense heat without damage. If you work around high levels of heat or need a bin that can handle those levels of heat then this might be the plastic storage bin for you.
You mentioned that you can hang this product. How does that work?
The product has a rear hang lock. The rear hang lock is molded to the back of the product. Most companies or individuals are using that feature to hang the product from louvered panels or rails.
