A-Frame Vertical Storage Rack Kit – Use Cases

A starter kit designed for vertical storage of long-length products such as aluminum extrusion, timber moldings, flashings, conduits, pipes, and many others:

• A-Frame Uprights: Two 96″, 120″, or 144″ tall steel posts forming two A-frames.
• Cross Beams: Four beams, each 24″, 36″, 48″or 72″ long, connecting the vertical uprights.
• Divider Arms:  You can use as many single divider arms as needed, and they can be positioned on the beam based on your product requirements.
• Anchors: Pallet Rack Anchors are designed to secure the A-frame structure to the floor, ensuring stability and preventing tipping during use.
• Finish: Powder-coated steel for durability and corrosion resistance.

How do I determine how many Arm Dividers I need?

The cinch Bracket height is 7¼”, and the width is 3″.

Here are some common setups:

• For heights from 8′ to 12′, use 1 or 2 levels of backer beams; for heights over 12′, use 3 levels.
• As a general rule, add an extra level every 4′ to prevent your product from falling.
• The width should be calculated based on your product size, but a bay every 2′ is common practice.

A-Frame Vertical Storage Rack

This racking system is constructed with high-strength steel A frames, beams, and divider arms, providing a durable and long-lasting storage solution for any industrial or commercial setting. The A-Frame Racking system is designed with an A-shaped frame structure, which allows for easy access to stored items from both sides of the rack. 

The system’s modular design allows for easy expansion. Additional racks can be added as the new bay or the back side of the rack connected by pallet rack row spacers, forming a double-sided storage system. Each A-frame rack features horizontal beams that support the load and allow for easy loading and unloading of materials.

The beams can be adjusted in height to accommodate different-sized items, and the entire rack can be easily configured to meet specific storage area needs. The system can be easily assembled and disassembled and relocated to a new location as needed. It is ideal for use in warehouses, factories, and other industrial settings where efficient vertical storage and organization of long and bulky items are critical.

Single divider arms allow you to divide your stock into certain categories, lengths, and extrusion profiles. Flexible and convenient, you can set them at any height and number of divisions you require. They are fully adjustable, so you can adjust your separators whenever your product changes.

Depending on the beams’ length and the product to be stored, we can calculate the distance between the divider arms. Depending on the product type to be stored, we can help you to calculate the length of the single divider arm.
