Model 450BOS Slider Bed Belt Conveyor is one of the most popular and common means of transporting goods. It can be used for packing, testing, inspecting and a variety of assembly line operations. 450BOS features a box style slider bed, ideal for workers stationed alongside the conveyor.
What is a Box Style Slider Bed Belt Conveyor?
Slider Bed Conveyors (a.k.a. belt conveyors) are one of the most versatile conveyor types available. Slider bed conveyors have a belt that slides along a solid surface. This particular model has a 12 gauge steel channel frame with a 14 gauge steel slider frame.
How does it operate?
The motor is mounted on the side of the conveyor section. It uses a drive pulley to pull the belting across the slider bed surface. Its design provides smooth conveyance for odd-shaped or unstable products. Station workers alongside the conveyor belt system to perform multiple functions during the manufacturing process.
Where are these used?
Slider bed style conveyors can be used to transport loose parts, boxes, small pallets & more. This conveyor is ideal when your production line needs to move loose/bulky materials. These conveyors are generally used in areas where space is limited. It can also be used for trash and dunnage handling applications. Not recommended for heavy duty or abrasive materials.
