The trough bed belt conveyor is a type of slider bed conveyor. It has an open trough with guide rails to transport loose material. sing an open center concave pan section (and a variety of belt sizes & types) the conveyor belt for sale quickly moves large volumes through your facility.
How does it operate?
Slider bed conveyors have a belt that slides along a solid surface. This particular version also has troughed rails on either side to keep bulk material confined to the belt situated in between. It is designed to keep work areas and internal parts clear while keeping loose material moving along the conveyor. Textured & cleat topped belts can also be used.
Where are these used?
Trough conveyors are designed for keeping loose or bulky materials in the center of the conveyor—especially with abrasive materials. Trough Bed Belt Conveyors are ideal for handling chips, slugs, scrap wood, paper waste, boxes, packages, cartons and much more. The troughed frame design offers integral guard rails for many trash conveyor applications, minimizing spillage over the transport distance.
