Slider Bed Belt Conveyors are one of the most versatile and economical conveyor types available. Slider bed conveyors have a belt that slides along a solid surface. The belt can then pull goods or products across its surface from one end to the other.
How does it operate?
A motor is mounted on the side of the conveyor. It uses a drive pulley to pull belting across the slider bed surface. Its design provides smooth conveyance for products. Workers can be stationed alongside the conveyor to perform multiple functions during the manufacturing or packaging process.
What are their uses?
Slider bed belt conveyors are designed for medium duty applications. It is the most popular of all powered conveyors, providing an economical means of transporting goods for packing, testing, inspecting and various assembly line operations.
